Mission
The Acadiana Regional Office serves a large portion of central and southern Louisiana, encompassing Acadia, Avoyelles, Catahoula, Concordia, Evangeline, Grant, Iberia, Lafayette, LaSalle, Rapides, St. Landry, St. Mary, St. Martin, and Vermilion parishes. This multi-media office is staffed with inspectors who conduct facility inspections, investigate environmental releases, and respond to citizen complaints to protect community health and environmental quality.
Because the Acadiana Region covers such a wide area of the state, the office also operates the Kisatchie Central Office. This satellite office provides additional support and oversight, ensuring that inspections and complaint responses are handled efficiently across the region. Together, the Acadiana Regional Office and Kisatchie Central Office deliver trusted environmental protection and compliance monitoring for residents and businesses throughout Acadiana area.
