EPA, Southwest Center for Pediatric Environmental Health and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso to host final virtual disaster recovery workshop
(DALLAS – Feb. 4, 2021) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Southwest Center for Pediatric Environmental Health and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso will hold a virtual disaster recovery workshop. The last session, part of a four-part series, will take place on Feb. 6, 2021, at 11 a.m. (CT).
The event features an overview of pediatric environmental and emotional health risks to flooding. The group will offer guidance on prevention, diagnosis, management, and treatment of environmentally related health effects of children through young adulthood. These sessions are for parents, teachers, health care providers, maintenance staff and community members. A certificate of attendance will be given to every registered participant who attends the entire session. The certificate of attendance may be used for your professional development.
