Over the next 3 years, Southern University at Shreveport plans to train 60 students for the environmental workforce with a job placement/furthering education goal of at least 85%.
The meeting will discuss the Dresser site in Pineville at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, at the Granberry Conference Center off Allen Drive on the campus of Louisiana College in Pineville. This in-person meeting was scheduled after a June 10 online meeting had to be canceled due to connectivity issues.
LDEQ will host an online community meeting concerning the current status of contamination at the Dresser site in Pineville and its effect on adjacent areas. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 10.
