Time:
10:00 AM
Location:
Live webinar

Description:

The Louisiana Department of Health’s (LDH) Environmental Public Health Tracking Network (Tracking) allows for sound data analysis that can help make stronger connections between the environment and community health. We can use this information to develop programs, support public health officials to respond effectively to environmental health concerns, and inform the development of new guidelines which will help people live healthier lives in the places we work and live. LDH Tracking is funded by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention. Tracking is an example of a successful multiagency partnership. The Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality has collaborated with the LDH Tracking Program for over 10 years. Through an interactive presentation, participants will learn about the Environmental Public Health Tracking Program and how to conduct data queries using the LDH’s Health Data Portal.
