Audubon Aquarium of Americas

Audubon Aquarium of Americas will be celebrating America Recycles Day on Saturday, November 17 from 10-4pm.  Guests can learn firsthand about the effects of plastics on our ocean by viewing the Washed Ashore Exhibits throughout the aquarium.  There will be special activities and educational interpretive carts throughout the day. https://audubonnatureinstitute.org/aquarium

Ouachita Parish

This event is geared toward giving residents in Ouachita Parish and the surrounding area an opportunity to dispose of recyclable and reusable materials around their homes. They will be accepting paper, cardboard, plastics (1’s & 2’s), scrap metal, and large appliances as well as electronics and tires (5 per household) on November 10 from 8-1pm.  They will also have a station for gently used clothing and shoes. http://ouachitagreen.org/America_Recycles_Day.html
