LDEQ schedules Dresser meeting for July 7

The meeting will discuss the Dresser site in Pineville at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, at the Granberry Conference Center off Allen Drive on the campus of Louisiana College in Pineville. This in-person meeting was scheduled after a June 10 online meeting had to be canceled due to connectivity issues.

The Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Office of Brownfields & Land Revitalization has announced that the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) has been awarded an $800,000 Brownfield Cleanup Revolving Loan Fund grant.

EPA Proposes to Retain NAAQS for Particulate Matter

Today, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is announcing its proposal to retain, without changes, the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for particulate matter (PM) including both fine particles (PM2.5) and coarse particles (PM10).
