| Shreveport and Bossier City held their 5 th Annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, September 6, 2003, at the Louisiana State Fair Grounds. Members from DEQ's Northwest Regional Office, (NWRO), provided support by registering, passing out information, and screening each vehicle. "It was such a fabulous success! The weather was beautiful, nice and sunny, and resulted in a beautiful day," said Jaime Cloud, Special Projects Coordinator with Shreveport Green. Over 400 vehicles, representing 543 households, dropped off hazardous waste. Members from the NWRO who participated were Shallon Reasor, Otis Randle, and Larry Lashley.
