Baton Rouge - In response to the severe weather event on April 27 which prompted an Emergency Declaration and Administrative Order, DEQ has opened two emergency debris sites. The sites are available to parish officials only for construction and demolition staging, electronic waste staging, vegetative staging, white goods staging and wood waste staging.
Please note that residents wishing to dispose of any storm-related debris need to contact their parish officials for guidance and information on how to do so.
The two sites that have been activated are:
