PUBLIC MEETING ON THE CORRECTIVE ACTION PROPOSAL
FORMER DIXIE METALS CORPORATION SITE AI# 2411

The
public meeting for the proposed corrective action proposal for the former Dixie
Metals Corporation Site, has been scheduled at the Heflin Civic Center, 116
North Main, Heflin, LA beginning at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2005.
The facility is located on Highway 531 within the city limits, Heflin in
Webster Parish.
In
accordance with Louisiana Administrative Code (LAC)33:VI. Chapter 8, the public
is hereby notified that LDEQ has selected a corrective action proposal for the
former Dixie Metals Corporation site. The selected remedy is presented in a
revised remedial action work plan dated April 14, 2005.
A
copy of the Revised Remedial Action Work Plan is available for review at the
LDEQ,
