LDEQ welcomes Stacey Holley as Chief of Staff

BATON ROUGE, LA – On March 18, 2024, LDEQ Secretary Aurelia Giacometto announced that Stacey Holley will serve as Chief of Staff in the Office of the Secretary.  Ms. Holley joins LDEQ after 10 years of service with the Louisiana State Senate and brings extensive knowledge of legislation and state agency management to her new role.

A native of Baton Rouge, Ms. Holley earned her Bachelor of General Studies, minor in History and Political Science from Southeastern Louisiana University and is a recent honors graduate from Texas A&M University School of Law where she received her Master in Legal Studies with certifications in energy, oil and gas law, and energy and environmental policy. She is highly versed in the vast complexities of energy and environmental law and its many facets of interpretation and application in the energy realm which will serve as an asset to the LDEQ Office of the Secretary.
